CURRENTLY ENROLLING STUDIES

Why should I help?

The Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center not only cares for patients but is also a clinical research site helping to advance treatment options for us all! Without volunteers, no treatment advancement is possible. Thank you for your interest!

New to clinical research? Here are some answers to common questions!

1. Will I need to stop my current meds? Not necessarily. Every study is different. Many of our trials involve add on therapies or meds that should perform similarly. Let our research team tell you more!

2. Is there any cost? No. There is no expense to volunteers. Any study-related care or medications will be provided at no cost. No insurance needed.

3. Is there compensation? Yes. Qualified candidates may be compensated for time and travel involved.

4. How long is a study? Study duration varies. Some trials are as short as 3 weeks, some much longer.

5. Will I need to attend visits Yes. If you choose to participate, visits occur at our Greenfield clinic. The number of visits varies by study, but compensation for time and travel is offered.

6. Can I change my mind? Yes. We are seeking volunteers. If you choose to join the study, you can change your mind at any time. Those who leave a study for any reason will still be compensated for the study visits completed.

Meet the physician overseeing study participation!

Dr. Steven has extensive experience in clinical trials, completing five or six studies per year since 1994, and earning the distinction as a Certified Physician Investigator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. This is awarded to physicians who strive to gather high-quality data while paying rigorous attention to patient safety. Furthermore, since excellence in health care requires cooperation among all of your physicians, we always ask for your permission for us to share the results of study-related procedures with your primary care physician - such as X-rays, blood work, EKGs, lung function tests, and any other procedures required by the study.
